What is My Laundry Schedule?
Many of my
readers have asked this question, and today I’m going to reveal it. However,
before I do, here is a back story of how I got introduced to it. Last year, I
hired professional cleaners from this leading cleaning company in South
Melbourne https://www.bondcleaninginmelbourne.com.au/end-of-lease-cleaning-south-melbourne/.
During a conversation with one of the cleaners shared useful information for
doing laundry and how to manage it. So, my laundry schedule is influenced by
the information she shared and today, and I am sharing with you.
- Wash the beddings once in a week
without fail as bed sheets, pillow covers, pullovers, and other linens
accumulate dead skin, sweat, dirt, bacteria, and germs quickly.
- Wash a load of laundry every day to
avoid a huge pile to wash on the weekend. I load the washing machine and
dry the clothes in the morning. In the evening I collect the clothes from
my backyard, fold them and place them at their designated place in the
house.
- I also have a system where everyone
in my family is responsible for their clothes and towels. They usually
wash it once or twice a week while I do laundry every day.
- Also, every month one member is
responsible for cleaning the lint filter, dryer, and washer.
This system
works for my family and I, you can try it too. However, customise it according
to your daily routine. I do laundry daily because my family is big, but if you
live alone or with your partner or roommate launder your clothes twice or
thrice a week.
